Pour the jar of store bought sauce into a heavy non-reactive saucepan. Add the tomato paste and Chef Johnny's seasoning stirring often to blend it into the sauce. Just before it boils, blend in the heavy cream and then the vodka. Bring back to temperature to just before the boiling point. Remove from heat and serve.
If you are not into cooking with alcohol, the Vodka can be omitted, however, the taste is different. Most of the alcohol evaporates prior to serving and the flavor of the Vodka stays with the sauce.
Serve this over any what I call, heavy pasta: Penne, Fettuccini, Large Shells etc.
Add grilled shrimp or chicken on top of the pasta before saucing and make a fantastic meal. This is one our neighbor Bill enjoys, especially when we have it with grilled shrimp.
