Caribbean Key Lime Jerk

Traditional Caribbean Jerk with Florida Key Lime.  NO MSG! 5oz


Jamaican Tuna

Ingredients:

  • 1--6oz Tuna steak 
  • 1 Tbl Captain Morgan's Rub
  • 2 Tbl Butter juice
  • 1/4 each thin sliced: Red, Yellow, Green Bell Pepper
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • Caribbean Key Lime Jerk Seasoning

Instructions:

Rub the tuna steak with Caribbean Key Lime and set aside.  In a sauté pan over medium heat, sauté in butter the three thin sliced portions of bell peppers. While peppers are cooking, grill or broil the tuna steak to a medium doneness.  Place tuna on serving plate on bed of rice pilaf.  Just before peppers are cooked remaining crisp, add half of a sliced banana and the rum.  Caution, rum will flame!  After finished flaming, pour over the tuna.
